Private Dracula Tour in Wallachia
Day 1: Bucuresti – Snagov – Sinaia – Bran – Brasov
We pick you up from Bucharest Airport, from the hotel or from other location in the city. The first stop of our trip is at the Snagov Monastery, which was one of the fortified churches in the Middle Ages. In the medieval church, situated on an island in the northern part of Snagov Lake, we can find Vlad Dracula’s tomb with the remains of the feared ruler.
First day will be also dedicated to the wonderful mountain resort of Sinaia where we will visit Peles Castle, built during the reign of King Carol I. Our private tour continues in the village of Bran, where we are going to admire Dracula’s Castle, one of the famous castles in the world.
The day will end in Brasov, an charming city of Transylvania, where we will stop overnight.

Day 2: Brasov – Sighisoara – Bistrita
In the morning we will visit the most important Brasov tourist attractions, such as the Town Hall Square, the White and the Black Towers and the Black Church, the largest gothic church in Romania.
We leave Brasov behind to go to Sighisoara, one of the beautiful medieval towns in Europe, well-preserved over the years. Sighisoara is not only Vlad the Impaler’s place of birth, but also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, we are heading to Bistrita where we will spend the night.

Day 3: Bistrita – Piatra Fantanele
First thing in the morning we will admire one of the bastions of the defense of the city known as the Coopers Tower, located near the old park and the Evangelical Church, built in Gothic and Renaissance style in the XIVth century.
Our private Dracula tour continues in Piatra Fantanele, situated in Tihuţa Pass, considered the Romanian Dracula land. In this marvelous landscape, the Irish novelist Bram Stocker placed the Castle of Dracula in his spectacular vampire book. Here we are greeted by Hotel Castel Dracula, a hotel built in the shape of a castle, where we are going to spend the night.

Day 4: Piatra Piatra Fantanele – Sibiu
Piatra Fantanele is the perfect place for relaxation and meditation in the second half of your private Dracula tour. After a fabulous experience at Hotel Castle Dracula and its surroundings, we are going to explore Sibiu, a vivid city full of colourful houses and tourist attractions such as Brukenthal Museum, featuring one of the most important art collections in Romania, The Large Square and The Bridge of Lies, The Stairs Passage or The Towers. In Sibiu we are going to spend the night before the last day of our 5 days tour.

Day 5: Sibiu – Cozia – Poenari Fortress – Bucuresti
In the last day of our private Dracula tour we will stop at the Cozia Monastery, which was built by the grandfather of the Impaler who inspired Dracula. After visiting the monastic place, we will go to the Poenari Castle, the real Vlad Dracula’s castle, located at 25 km distance of the famous Curtea de Arges Monastery. Climbing up 1400 steps of the fortress through the woods will lead us to the real Dracula`s home. After taking some fresh air and admiring a breathtaking panorama, we will return to Bucharest, the starting point of our adventure. Our English speaking guide will drop you off at the airport, at the hotel or at other location of your choice.
